USA 4-3 Germany June 02, 2013

81'
Goal Julian Draxler
79'
Goal Max Kruse
64'
Goal Clint Dempsey
GOAL! DEMPSEY WITH A SENSATIONAL FOURTH Dempsey feigns a shot with his right foot before shifting the ball onto his left and curling a top drawer effort beyond a hapless ter Stegen. Game over now, surely.

Goal Clint Dempsey
GOAL! USA RESTORE THEIR TWO GOAL CUSHION! More of the same from Germany's defence. Jose Altidore is in behind too easily as he takes down a long ball inside the penalty area. The visitors then fail to close down the striker as he clips in an inviting cross to Clint Dempsey who smacks home with aplomb.
52'
Goal Heiko Westermann
GOAL! DaMarcus Beasley concedes a corner for the second time in the half and this time Germany make it count as substitute Heiko Westermann rises highest in the six-yard box to power a header home and half the deficit.
16'
Own Goal Marc-Andre ter Stegen
GOAL! A CALAMITOUS OWN GOAL! Expect to see this on a lot of DVDs next Christmas. Howedes's innocuous back pass is miscontrolled by Marc-Andre ter Stegen as the Gladbach keeper lets the ball run under his foot and into the empty net. An awful moment for the young goalkeeper.
13'
Goal Jozy Altidore
GOAL! WHAT A FINISH FROM ALTIDORE! The USA create some space down the right and Graham Zusi sends across a glorious first time cross. Per Mertesacker is caught in no man's land as he leaves Jose Altidore all alone, the former Hull City man taking the opportunity and smashing a first time volley beyond ter Stegen.
